Joy's Isle was a tropical paradise, and it was a place that my unconventional family and I did not want to leave. Months earlier, we had voyaged aboard the Veterinary Vixen, a Viking style wooden ship, arriving at Joy's Isle as four blue-eyed white cats.
Katherine and I had left the mainland, rescued her sister Rebekah from a reef, and picked up their sister Ilayda from a cove where she had acquired the ability to transform. Ilayda had taught us how to transform between our human and cat forms, and by now, we had mastered this preternatural ability.
The three sisters and I were a family, an unconventional one, and I had been building a bond with them during our time on Joy's Isle. During our time there, other visitors showed up. We'd all swim in the lagoon. Katherine would use her mobile veterinary office aboard the Veterinary Vixen to heal injured raptors and the pets of other island visitors. Rebekah rearranged roses for photoshoots, and Ilayda helped both her sisters with their efforts.
I had acquired and mastered the ability to transform into a golden hamster, and I would disappear and scamper around, stalking and staring at random island vacationers as they minded their own business.
We were all satisfied and content with our long-term vacation on Joy's Isle.

One day, Ilayda and I wanted intimacy and so we decided to take our own little side-vacation. We had heard about a nearby island that was flowing with mustard and honey, so we wanted to go check it out for ourselves.
Katherine needed the Veterinary Vixen to rehabilitate a Peregrine falcon, and Rebekah was occupied with creating a rose arrangement for Taylor Swift's music video shoot. So, I found an unused sailboat to use for the next couple days.
The sailboat had a radio, and as we were sailing away from Joy's Isle, "Come Sail Away" by STYX played.
There was adequate wind to get us to our destination. We sailed all day, and as the wind took us, Ilayda and I relaxed on the deck, Ilayda's long brown hair blowing in my face as I held her in my arms.
Evening came, and we arrived at Ibiza Isle. We docked at a stone pier, and the water was crystal clear and bright blue, shimmering in the golden sunset. Next to the stone pier was an empty beach with bright white sand, and there was a stage along the shore, seemingly designed for a rave.
There was a small crowd dancing to the beat of a mix of deep house electronic music, and we felt an immediate vibe of a summer party going on. Neon and strobe lights illuminated the tropical scene.
I looked into Ilayda's deep brown eyes, and we felt the urge to dance together.
"Let me change into something for you," smiled Ilayda. She went below deck, and emerged a few moments later looking sensual and sexy in a leopard print mini-dress.
I suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu, as well as a sense of arousal at her thoughtfulness. "You look... amazing," I said, smiling as I ran my fingers through her soft, wavy, brown hair. I kissed her on the forehead.
We walked up to the crowd and joined in the dance. I didn't know a single dance move, so I simply tried to move in sync with the rhythm and beat. Maybe I twerked a little. Ilayda and I moved in synchronicity together, the upbeat electronic Ibiza beat enhancing our grind and groove.

It was a real joy to dance with Ilayda. Neither of us was any good at it, but our sensual touch and movement together was purely peaceful and chill, energized with the pleasure of our mutual playfulness. We were getting our groove on, grinding, her flirtacious smiling at me over her shoulder as I playfully kissed her neck and shoulder, my arms wrapped around her waist, our sensual touch warming each others' souls.
After a couple hours of dancing away, we moved away from the crowd, and sat on the edge of the stone pier. We got barefoot, dipping our feet in the crystal blue water. As we moved our feet around, the water seemed to glow blue with a radiant phosphorescence. Mesmerized, we splashed each other playfully.
Under the starry sky, with energetic deep house music playing in the background, the glowing bright blue water enveloping our feet, I held Ilayda in my arms. I locked eyes with her, gazing into her playfully youthful and gentle soul, and slowly running my fingers through her hair, I felt our love dancing together as I kissed her, savoring the warmth of her touch.

The dawn came, and Ilayda and I were cuddling under the covers below deck in our sailboat. We had rocked the boat with our wild love-making the night before, and we had slept so well.
Today, we would explore Ibiza Isle. First, we found a nearby restaurant where we had a simple breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs, and blueberry pancakes topped with honey syrup.
The island was rugged, so there was a bit of a climb up to a plateau. The area was a couple square miles, overgrown with tropical vegetation. We followed a trail until we came to a vast field full of giant sunflowers and mustard plants.
Again, a feeling of déjà vu came over me, and I took Ilayda's hand as we weaved our way through the field. We came to a stream running with honey and yellow mustard. Wow. The rumors were true. This place literally flowed with mustard and honey.
We had a couple canteens with us, so we filled them with honey and mustard. We mixed them together, creating the best honey mustard we'd ever tasted.
Suddenly, we heard some loud buzzing above us. There were several large bees hovering over us, apparently ready to attack.
Ilayda gasped, then screamed, and finally transformed into her water fairy form. Startled, I transformed into my golden hamster form. POOF!
The bees chased Ilayda upstream, and I followed, skedaddling as speedily as I could.
We came to a giant beehive that resembled that of an industrial factory. Ilayda the water fairy landed atop the hive. As a huffing and puffing hamster, I could only look up helplessly at Ilayda as the bees landed around her.
For some reason, in my hamster form, I could understand what the bees were saying.
"Buzz off!" shouted the first bee at Ilayda.
"Why!? You can't tell me what to do!" shouted back Ilayda.
"Bee cuz!" shouted another bee.
"None of your beeswax," sternly stated the third bee.
"Honey, I'll sting yo ass!" shouted another bee.
"Whatcha gonna do if I don't buzz off!?" shouted Ilayda.
"We'll get Bumble Bee, and then you'll be sorry!" shouted back the first bee.
"What'll that do?" scoffed Ilayda.
"Bumble Bee is the best at transformation. He'll break your transformation!" stated the second bee.
I was concerned for Ilayda's safety. She was a firecracker, but she was going to get stung.
POOF! I transformed back into my human self. "Let's go, Ly! It's not worth the trouble."
Ilayda floated down, and I caught her in my arms. POOF! She turned back into her human self. "Sorry, love. Bees scare me, and I can get worked up."
I pecked her on the cheek, hugging her. We grabbed our containers of honey mustard, and made our way back to the pier.

It was evening by the time we arrived back at Joy's Isle. Katherine and Bekah were waiting for us in the lobby of the mansion atop the hill.
"Did you two have a good time?" asked both of them in unison, as if they were identical twins who could read each others' minds. "Was it worth it?"
Ilayda nad I pulled out our canteens of honey mustard and placed them on a table.
"It was worth it," I said with a grin.
