Had a dream that was deep, wet, vivid, and trippy.
I was in a vast swamp, and I was sitting in a viking-style rowboat. The boat was guiding itself through the swamp, which was bland in color and all the trees were dying weeping willows.
I came to a primitive-looking village, where there were huts made of sticks and mud, built up high in the trees, and each had a balcony. There were hundreds of "water fairies", but none of them had wings and had either red or brown hair. They all looked identical. They were chanting at me to stay away from the "queen fairy".
Suddenly, I saw a terrifying creature wandering around the village. It looked like a giant daddy long legs spider, but enormous in size and it was hideously deformed and downright ugly, and covered in shit. It was directing the fairies to yell to me, and if they didn't, it ate them.
The boat I was in started moving toward the nightmare creature, and I felt dread since I had no control of the boat. The creature saw me, and I panicked and jumped out of the boat into the murky swamp water. As I did so, the "queen" water fairy suddenly appeared, and she was the most beautiful of all the fairies, and she had long brown hair and glowing fantastical wings. She pulled me away from the immediate threat. I saw the dreadful creature coming after me, but the queen fairy pulled me under the water, and guided me deep down.
We came to a submerged door at the bottom of the swamp, and she helped me open it. She guided me through it into a narrow passage that kept going down, seemingly endlessly. We dove down, deeper and deeper, and I began to feel safer, away from the threat above.
We emerged into a giant submerged cavern. There were brightly colored clothes attached to the ceiling of the submerged cavern. I got lost in them briefly, but then the queen fairy guided me further down, until we came to a vividly colorful world of fantastical aquatic creatures and structures and rooms made of pearls and other bizarre things. This whole world was trippy to behold.
We came to a giant underwater hallway that went on forever, and each room was open to see into. As we floated endlessly through the hall, and each room was like an exhibit in a museum, but full of various bizarre, but beautiful, sea creatures, which made me feel safe. Eventually, we stopped moving, and she disappeared, but I felt safe, in the deep.
Then I woke up.
